IFPL Group – comprised of IFPL and Cobalt Aerospace – is an award-winning engineering company, designing and manufacturing products for the commercial aerospace sector. The business is growing rapidly and we are looking to recruit a Purchasing Assistant to complement the existing team.
We are a full end-to-end business designing, selling, and manufacturing our own products for sale to airlines and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) around the world. We are recognised as industry leaders for our passenger power and audio products, as well as for our drop-in LED mood lighting system. We also completed a six-figure investment to establish a new PCBA surface mount facility.

You will need to be based on the Isle of Wight or be prepared to re-locate, as the role will be at our Calbourne location and require you to be on-site.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Chase up and progress outstanding and unconfirmed Purchase Orders and keep the system and wider team updated with any changes. Supporting the schedulers on any date improvements as requested.
- Ensuring information on the system is kept updated, including price defaults, stock holding, supplier details, delivery dates and liaising with the buyers as necessary on other general purchasing admin tasks.
- Update weekly purchasing reports and distribute to Supply Chain.
- To raise Purchase Orders as requested by the Supply chain team and wider business including management of consumable items across both sites.
- Support supplier meetings as required (on and offsite) including writing meeting notes, maintaining meeting diary, and typing up key points of important meetings if required.
- Update weekly purchasing reports and distribute to Supply Chain.

REMUNERATION
- £24k – £28k annually.
