We are launching a new USB module at this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo, which will empower passengers to utilise up to 60W of convenient in-seat power.
From stand 4B20 at this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo, we are launching a new product capable of delivering up to 60W of in-seat charging power to passengers.
This new USB-A & USB-C Combination Module will give passengers the ability to efficiently charge their portable electronic devices like mobile phones, tablets, and laptops with up to 60W of power.
This new release will allow operators to simultaneously offer both up to 60W from a type-C and 10W from a type-A USB port, from a single module. Delivering a power solution designed to provide airlines with a simple, low-cost upgrade path, the USB-A & USB-C Combination Module supports both legacy and current passenger charging requirements rather than forcing operators to choose between the two.
Each port in the USB-A & USB-C Combination Module incorporates a IFPL’s patented cartridge design for quick and easy on-wing replacement. The product also includes our unique reversible USB-A port which allows passengers to insert a USB-A cable the correct way every time, minimising user damage and frustration.
Mark Reed, Director of Business Development at IFPL, comments:
“IFPL’s success in the IFEC sector is thanks to our strong relationships with our customers. We always aim to deliver solutions that respond to our customers’ needs, as well as the needs of their passengers – which is exactly why we are launching our 60W solution. This product offers passengers the flexibility to charge a variety of different personal electronic devices effectively and conveniently.”
We are exhibiting alongside Cobalt Aerospace at Aircraft Interiors Expo this 6th – 8th June at stand 4B20. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to demo a wide variety of in-flight entertainment and connectivity products, from wireless chargers to Bluetooth audio. Book a meeting with the team on the stand by choosing a slot here or emailing email@example.com.
